So Reno received over a foot and a half of snow (which is rare for Reno). Our puppies are officially snow puppies (Kanga LOVES the snow! Sometimes it is impossible to convince Kanga to come in. Maiya just loves rolling in the snow (as pictured below)) Kanga is very smart however, she gets tricked by snow balls, I will throw one and she will chase it and when she can’t find the “ball” then digs in the snow looking for it… silly puppy :)
Now the pipe burst… Casey got home today and saw that water was rushing out of our garage… BAD NEWS! He rushed in to the garage and found water all over our cars, the garage floor, and the sheet rock surrounding the water heater were all wet. He found out that the pipe connected to our water heater had burst and was leaking (see picture of pipe below). My luck was the water coming out of our garage had frozen by the time I got home and the driveway was ice :) my luck ran out when I slipped on the ice :( ha ha ha. We are still waiting for the repair man to call us that was contacted by our home owner’s warranty (as provided by our WONDERFUL real estate agent! THANK YOU Terry!!! ) instead of repairing everything ourselves we only have to pay 60 dollars yay! Our big question is who puts a water heater out in the garage next to a drafty door? :)
